BookGist.ai Terms and Conditions
These site-specific terms govern author submissions, AI summaries, audio, quote cards, and public library listings on BookGist.ai.
BookGist.ai is operated by Archieboy Holdings, LLC. These terms supplement the Archieboy Master Terms and Conditions and the Archieboy Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict for BookGist.ai services, these site-specific terms control for the BookGist.ai service only.
Author Submissions
By submitting a book, manuscript, cover image, description, retailer link, ISBN, or related metadata, you confirm that you own or control the rights needed to submit that material and authorize BookGist.ai to process it for the selected service tier.
You grant Archieboy Holdings, LLC a limited license to store, analyze, summarize, format, narrate, display, and promote the submitted material as needed to provide BookGist.ai services. You retain ownership of your book and underlying content.
AI Summaries and Generated Assets
BookGist.ai uses automated tools to create summaries, key takeaways, audio narration, quote cards, and related listing assets. AI output may contain errors or omissions. Authors are responsible for reviewing listing details, summaries, retailer links, and generated assets before relying on them.
We may reject, remove, or edit listings that appear unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, spam-like, or unsuitable for the public library.
Public Library Listings
Free and paid submissions may be published in the public BookGist.ai library. Public listing pages can include book metadata, covers, summaries, downloadable summary files, audio summaries, quote cards, and retailer links. We do not guarantee search ranking, traffic, sales, reader engagement, or continued availability of any listing.
Payments and Refunds
Paid tiers are one-time purchases tied to a specific book submission or upgrade. Payment is processed by Stripe. Once processing begins, fees are generally non-refundable because AI processing, summary creation, audio generation, and asset creation may start immediately.
If a technical failure prevents us from delivering the purchased service, contact us and we will make a reasonable effort to reprocess the book, correct the issue, or determine an appropriate remedy.
Privacy and Manuscript Handling
Private source files are used to generate BookGist.ai deliverables and are not intended to be published directly. Public deliverables, including summaries and library pages, may be indexed by search engines and shared by readers.
Our AI providers are configured under their applicable API terms. We do not sell submitted manuscripts as training data.
Acceptance
By creating an account, submitting a book, using a free tier, upgrading, or completing a paid checkout, you agree to these BookGist.ai Terms and the Archieboy Master Terms.
